I’m not gonna sugar-coat it, I did not expect to revisit a post from 2014 today (High Treason). Nor did I ever think I’d see conservatives assailing 2A rights, especially after they were so vocal when Kyle illegally crossed state lines with a rifle he couldn’t legally own and used it to kill protestors. I had much higher hopes, but really their letting him off on that was an early suggestion that maybe they weren’t being honest.
We’ve got the current administration claiming the action in Minnesota yesterday was the officer protecting himself, while literally every video shows him executing Alex Pretti in broad daylight, while violating Pretti’s constitutional rights (at least the First, Second, Fourth, and Eighth, and IANAL so I’m probably missing something). Pretti stopped to help a woman up, and for his protective action (which let me remind you, all I’ve ever heard from conservatives is “men have to protect women”)…so he was tear gassed, pistol-whipped, and executed by a group of masked armed men.
Not to mention…he worked for the VA supporting US veterans. Where are my pro-military pro-2A friends on this? C’mon man…
When CEO’s of major corporations who have backed this administration (Target, 3M, and United Healthcare) say it’s time to chill the fuck out…then you’re on the wrong side if you’re still supporting it. That means, you, too, Democrats who approved more funding.
